Investment Banking Analyst

Job Description:
WWC is seeking to hire an analyst with relevant work experience in investment banking to work on a variety of transactions.  The analyst will support advisory engagements on mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, balance sheet restructuring, leveraged buyouts, and business and securities valuations, and will work with senior professionals to bring transactions to a successful close.  Responsibilities will include researching and analyzing financial statements, general economic conditions, industry specific trends, acquisitions and divestitures, and developing complex financial models. The analyst will also assist senior bankers in the preparation of pitch books, research reports, presentations and other offering materials.

Qualifications:

• B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting from a top undergraduate business school in the graduating class of 2009 or 2010.  Candidates must have been ranked in the top 20% of their class
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
• An understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
• A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
